What does it mean to start over or maybe to start again? Sometimes it just means to take one small step forward.
The new year always causes me to reflect. I love the idea of a fresh start while remembering all that was accomplished. Along with setting some personal goals for myself, each year I try to pick one word that I want to focus. This year I chose (or maybe it chose me) Renew.
There are many areas in my life where I need to apply this word to. I want to renew connections to family members and friends. I need to renew a desire for healthy living. I crave a renewal in my relationship with my Lord, Jesus Christ.
And, as I write a new post in almost over a year, I can’t wait to renew my passion for crafting. Part of how I can reignite that passion is to share what I create with others. I plan to do that, not only through this blog but also through hosting crafting events and a few other things I’m planning but haven’t quite worked out the details yet – so I hope you stay tuned!
Let’s begin with sharing a card that I created as part of a swap I participated in to celebrate the launch of the 2019 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs.
One ink color (Calypso Coral) with one card stock color (Whisper White) does not mean you have to have a boring card.
I wanted to use this exquisite satin ribbon, so that was my jumping off point.
Add a gorgeous stamp set, a few punches, and a few more embellishments and you have a beautiful card that is easier than you think to put together.
If you would like to create this card, too, and you need any of the supplies just click on any of the tiles below to go directly to my online store.
Happy New Year!
