My crafting lately has been filled with creating Christmas cards, getting ready for my first Christmas Buffet of the year this weekend. I wanted a little break from Christmas, but didn’t have the creative juices to come up with a design, so I went to the internet. I loved a card that Lori Pinto created and decided to CASE her card, changing it up a bit.
The Designer Series Paper behind the pictures is the Painted Autumn DSP. I also fussy cut the pumpkins out of one of the papers from that same pack.
To set the middle picture out, I not only double matted it using the Stitched Shapes Framelits, but also popped the pumkins up with dimensionals to set it apart even more.
I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set in Cajun Craze and separated it from the squares at the top with wrapping linen thread around the center. The sentiment is also set off with the enamel shapes, also in Cajun Craze.
It was nice to take a break from all the Christmas cards I’ve been working on. But it was even nicer that I didn’t have to create another design and just CASE it from someone else. That is one of the really nice things with having so many other very talented demonstrators. Everyone in the community encourages CASing. Thank you, Lori, for sharing your awesome design!
Thanks for stopping by today. I will be sharing the Christmas cards I’ve been working on in the coming days, so I hope you come back next time!
