Monday I showed you a technique with the new glossy white cardstock.  If you missed it, you can catch up by clicking here.

I used the same technique on part of today’s card.  The background behind the flowers cut out from one of the Lots of Labels Framelits was made with the same technique using Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, and Basic Black reinkers.

The flower cluster was made using Crushed Curry ink with the Oh So Eclectic stamp set and Eclectic Layers Thinlits. The center of the flowers are the Clear Faceted Gems (#144142) colored with a black Sharpie marker.

The scalloped edge was created from Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  The Hello Friend was stamped on the same Color Theory DSP that is used for the background mat and punched with the Classic Label punch.

I wasn’t so sure how this would come together, but I loved how it turned out.
