As promised, today I am showing you three alternatives to this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit. If you missed my last post or want to find out more about paper pumpkin, you can catch up by clicking here.
In keeping with the Easter theme, I created this alternative card.
I stamped the bunny faces along the bottom of a Whisper White card and then ran half of it through the Softly Fallen embossing folder. I cut a strip from one of the kit’s cards to separate the card in two sections. I cut around the remains of the bunny ear stickers to use for the ears here, popping them up with dimensionals.
The next card I used only the left over supplies from the kit by taking the inside bunny ear stickers and creating a flower on one of the card bases provided in the kit.
My final card is my favorite, I think. I used the Softly Fallen embossing folder again and then took the dragonfly die from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlit set, snipped off the wings and added the remaining ear parts from the bunny to make the wings of the dragonflies on this card.
As fun as the Paper Pumpkin kits are just as they come, it is even more fun (and sometimes challenging) to come up with alternative ways to use the same supplies.
