I know the Vintage Leaves stamp set (p.37, Annual catalog) has been out for a while, but it is truly one of my all time favorite sets and I can’t stop using it.

One of my go-to layouts for a card is to create a panel to go across the card as the main part of the base, which is what I did for all the card samples today.

For the first set, I created the panel using the petal mask of the Seasonal Decorative Masks (p. 43, Holiday catalog). I sponged the colors in a rainbow pattern, using non-traditional rainbow colors.

The leaves were cut using the Leaflets Framelits out of both the gold and copper foil sheets. I stamped the leaves with VersaMark ink and embossed them with the gold and copper embossing powder for the details.

The second card I repeated the same technique I used in my last post. I white embossed the leaves and sponged the colors around it. I popped up the white side panels using dimensionals to give a little added interest.

The final set of cards were also sponged and then I stamped the leaves with using nothing but water, pulling the ink off the panel.

Here is a close up.

Because of the extra work put into the panels, I kept the other embellishments on each of the cards fairly simple.

Until next time…keep on crafting!
