I have great neighbors!
There is a group of us who get together for dinner to celebrate each of our birthdays. (At least that is our excuse to have a “Ladies Night Out” every once in a while.)
Last night we celebrated another birthday.
Of course, I always like to give handmade gifts to the birthday girl.
For this time around, I made a set of gift cards for her.
I used the Leaflet Framelits to make a stencil and sponged the leaf background.
I then chose one image from various stamp sets to represent each season and stamped that on top of the sponged area.
I used the tree from the Sheltering Tree stamp set and stamped on top each of the leaf images.
And finished it off with a colored ribbon along the bottom and a twine bow on the trunk of the tree.
I decorated each envelope with the matching image I stamped on each of the leaves.
And voila…a set of beautiful cards for her to use.
I purposely left a sentiment off so she could use these for any occasion she may need them for.
These took me maybe an hour at the most to create.
The materials I used can be found below.
Until next time…keep on crafting!
