I saw this card on Pinterest using The Lighthearted Leaves stamp set and thought it was just so elegant and peaceful.

I decided to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) the card and because I loved the design so much I wanted to see what it would look like in other colors.

The background on all the cards is Whisper White embossed with the Woodland embossing folder.

The greens used are Mossy Meadow and Old Olive with Into the Woods designer series paper (DSP).

I stamped the leaf two times on each of the different colors with the Archival Black Ink. I then colored part of the design using the Stampin’ Chalk Marker. I fussy-cut three of the stamped leaves around three different sections and then adhered it together alternating the two different colors using dimensionals.

The chalk marker worked OK on the greens, but when I used Lost Lagoon and Pool Party on the next card, it didn’t show up as well so I switched to the white uni-ball gel pen instead. The DSP used on this one came from Home for Christmas.

I did the same on the Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder (Regal DSP).

For a finishing touch, I tied Old Olive baker’s twine around the green card and White around the other two cards.

Unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card to send this week, so I deciding to make this into one by adding a sentiment to the inside of the card from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set..

These cards are so versatile, though, you could really use them for any occasion.  You could even make several in different colors and package them up to give away as a gift for someone.

Until next time…keep on crafting!
