Happy Thursday, All!

I mentioned in my last post that I had a couple card classes last weekend. We made this adorable Trick or Treat card that everyone seemed to love. was inspired by an idea on Pinterest (gotta love Pinterest!!) and put my own touches to it to step it up a notch.

I don’t normally make Halloween cards, but isn’t this owl just too adorable?!?

And when you open him up, you get a nice “treat” surprise…

Yes, that is real chocolate, which might be a contributing factor as to why this card was liked so well. 🙂

I used rhinestones for his little eyes, but I didn’t want just clear rhinestone so I used a little trick and colored them with Sharpie markers. I used black for the front of the card and orange for the inside.

I also loved the glitter paper that was used for his hat. I’m learning that I’m kind of a bling girl, more so than I thought.

All the items I used on this cards are listed below, but here are the measurements of the card stock used:

Tangelo Twist cardstock – 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 scored at 5 3/8 and 5 5/8 (scored twice to make room for the candy bard)

2 pieces of Whisper White cardstock – 4 x 5 1/4

Have a great Thursday!

Until next time…keep on crafting!
